Havent posted here in awhile but I bought another ef with a b20 and it was completely converted obd1 not with jumper harness.. the dash and engine harness are both obd1 now.

Problem is when I jump the service connector the check engine light isnt flashing to show me codes so im guessing I need to find the wire that runs to the ecu that shows codes and jump it? Need some suggestions on this

Also another problem when driving low gears its a real problem because its almost like its hitting a rev limiter at any rpm below 1800 and that car just starts jumping insanley. Its not spark or fuel related. Also if im not driving and I just give it throttle to like 20% it will sound like a slow 2 step.

Car is tuned on a p28 chipped.
