90 accord ex highbeams wont stay on
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello folks, just bought myself a 90 accord due to its known bulletproofness.
I'm having one issue I would like to resolve as its driving me nuts:
The highbeams don't stay on! I pull the stalk on the dimmer switch/headlight switch and the high beams turn on, but as as I release they turn off.
I can flash the high beams by pulling and releasing the stalk/switch but they just won't stay on. I already changed the dimmer/headlight switch at the steering wheel, but the problem still persists.
Please help thank you!

yes there is a click, when i pull back the stalk of the headlight switch, i have tried three different headlight switch/stalks, they all click, and they all have the same symptoms, the passing flash (quick highbeams) works, but when ill pull all the way it clicks but the highbeams do not stay on, the highbeams dash indicator comes up (blue light) and goes away, they turn on and stay on if i hold the stalk pulled. but if i let go it goes back to the low beams
thank you for the reply!
thank you for the reply!
Let me take a look at my car and see if I can help troubleshoot further. It sounds like a simple fix, maybe a blown fuse or loose wire. I know the lighting system gets messed up if the main wiring harness going into the engine bay fuse panel isn't completely connected.
Thank you so much for your help, I was looking around (damn these accords are tight
) and I narrowed it down o the DRL module/relay, it seems to be defective, if I hit it, everything works if I hit it again it stops working the relay is an rz-0089 from Mitsuba, where can I find another one?
I can't seem to find any anywhere....
