Default DC Sports Horror Stories?

I've been doing alot of research on cat-back exhausts, and am seriously considering the DC Sports TCS for my 2000 Civic SI. The Problem I keep running into, is that I hear that DC's have a real fitment problem. Whether it be a bad hanger, bolts that don't align, or rubbing on the undercarriage. I am positive that DC can manufacture a quality product. I would like to hear anyone's comments pertaining to DC sports Cat-Backs, TCS or otherwise. Good fitment? Bad Fitment? Was it fixable? A big mess? whatever.
I'm sure there are other, better, exhausts out there, which is why I am keeping my options open. But for now, I just need info on DC.
Thanks
Jayro

well I have their regular cat back on my teg and the muffler tilts a bit so that the right side looks higher. It's not too big a deal for me, the tip does fit perfectly in the middle of the bumper arc. But yeah I don't think I'll be buyin any more DC Sports stuff.

My DC exhaust fit perfect onto my teg. The 'DC Sports' logo on the muffler likes slightly not-perfect alignment wise but the fit was fantastic.

Everybody told me about the same thing with Tanabe. Mine bolted right up. It couldn't have fit any better. Find someone here who has it and get some pics posted.

crappy headers? we have been using them since they first came out back in the early 90s. they were the only good header company that made quality headers. if you're old school import scene, you can compare them with the SNS, lightspeed, pacesetter headers and DC was still the best. We didnt have much custom headers such as AN-R and SMPS back then. so DC was the one to get.
well... DC.. i give it a for being one of the pioneers in the industry here in the states. DC FABRICATION in the 80's... DC SPORTS..90+

My header bolted up perfectly and is excellently made, perfect welds and construction.

Don't listen to the people with a hard-on for JDM. All they do is talk **** about manufacturers without a big name.

It's not hard to bend the hangers on teh exhaust. I helped put on the Mugen exhaust on a S2000. Same deal there, the left side hung a lil' lower.......bend the hanger a bit..........perfect.

Thanks for the pic
Actually, it doesn't look bad at all. How is the sound on that exhaust?

I've got a DC cat-back on my Lx Accord and a friend has it on his Ls Teg. It's the best sounding exhaust for both cars I've ever heard. If you have a body kit "lip" that goes around the bottom of the bumper, you'll have to lower the muffler a little by using adjustable hangers from Autozone or someplace, otherwise, the tip will rub against the body kit and damage the paint.

yeah the sound is great, very deep!

I thought of bending the hanger but I was thinking it would throw off the alignment of the tip. An adjustable hanger seems like a good idea though. Oh well I'm selling it soon anyway for a 3" catback.
