I have a 94 integra I put a b18a1 out of a 91 acura in and it wont fire Im a newbie and lookin for helpful advice please thanks!! It just cranks will pop buy not run

 

Since your engine turns over, you can now try to locate your issue.

A car needs three things to run. compression, air/fuel, and spark. Your missing one of these things.

Does your fuel pump prime? are you getting spark at your spark plugs? These are the next questions you need to answer

 

Ok I forgot to mention that when I swapped the distributor had different style plugs so i spliced the wires this is a dirt track race car

 

Could be you are using an obd2 dizzy on a obd1 ecu or vise versa. Again, CHECK FOR SPARK, FUEL, COMPRESSION

 

No spark

 

Distributor isnt 180* out? Is it a known working distributor? Is it getting power? That would be the next step

 

How do I check for being 180 out? Will the obdo dizzy work with obd1 ?
