Default Stolen PY 01 ITR

The thieves stole my ITR from school. The dealer said that this car was non-stealable. The keys are magnetic and who ever copies the key can't start it. That's a crock of sh..t. Anyone out there experience the same problem. How does these stupid thieve figure this out.

every car is stealable. if they want it bad enough, they'll take it.

I have a vx hatch, 4 door 95gsr, and itr. earlier i had asked for info about 5 wire to 4 wire. re: my hatch. the gsr motor is going to replace to d15 sohc. I bought a ls motor for the gsr. i did plan on doing a conversion on the itr. but now. Who knows.

Things like this make me wonder if the $750 security system I have arranged to be installed in my car is going to do anything but give me a false sense of security.

I don't think you have to worry, most people don't know what an R is where you live.

You could take the ECU with you. Its removeable quickly if you have it set up right.

Alarm systems are only as good as the installation.

Good install of a cheap alarm is better than a cheap install of a good alarm.

The immobilizer is easy to bypass, but not as easy as it is to tow the whole damn thing. Sorry man, been down this road w/ my 1st ITR. Hope your insurance is as good to you as mine was to me.

My ECU comes to bed with me every night and in my purse if I go anywhere else. Nothing I can do about tow-trucks though. I feel like I'm doing as much as I can... Still paranoid though.

Thanks...makes it easier to steal...just hop in there with a harness adapter and a chipped ecu, hot wire the car and get rid of the steering wheel lock...stolen car.

p.s. wasn't trying to sound like a dick...but it looks like I was
