Default Gasket needed for Spoon headers?

A friend of mine just recently put my Spoon headers on, and said that i was missing a gasket. Should the Spoon headers have came with the gasket? Also, is it bad to run w/o the gasket? And what type of gasket should i purchase if one is necessary? any info appreciated. thanks.

The donut gasket that connects to that cat is NEEDED.

You can get it from an acura legend. Acura Part #: 18229-SP0-J51 - or from an S2000, don't have that part # handy

probably honda 2.5 (jdm spec) donut gasket - you could get that from import online shops.. I think some of u.s. honda/acuras might use same size... maybe legend/vigor

I dont think it was the donut gasket. He said it was triangular shaped. Anybody know what part this could be, and if it is necessary? Shouldnt this gasket have came with either my carsound cat or the spoon headers? any info appreciated. thanks.

the tail end of a catalytic converter typically has a triangle shaped gasket.
this would NOT come with a header.
this would possibly come with a CAT if you purchased one new.
most likely you need another cat rear end gasket.

cats with blown rear ends are messy.. har har har
