Next to the s2k. They came from the same factory! Kindof like twins but with totally different goals. It's pretty funny that one car gets about 25mpg and the other gets about 65mpg. That's a 40 MPG difference and they both take 91 minimum. Is the s2k 40mpg more fun? YES! Picture the insight as a slow moving turtle and the s2k as the roadrunner.

I bit the bullet even though this makes it #4 for me. It's just a little ridiculous!

 

That's my s2k in the garage also. My steering wheel in my insight is oem and in pretty good condition.

Windows tinted today. I got the lightest tint 50% because that's what I like. But as you can see when i put the front sunshade up, it looks much darker and interior well protected. Another item i can cross off the Things ToDo List!

I love the look just because I know how much effort they put into making it work as well as it does.

STILL stomps on any Prius, efficiency wise.

 

I also really like the Citrus Yellow Metallic color. It's what first caught my eye.

Took out my EGR plate and to my surprise, it was very clean. Looked inside the head and the valves look clean and in excellent condition. Then I cleaned her up and reinstalled. After that I cleaned my engine bay. It was pretty gross under there. I did the best I could and it turned out pretty decent.

Time to detail inside and out. Clay and 3 Stage polish/wax


Inside shampoo and took off oem seat covers and washed. Wiped down everything else and added an armrest.

 

i can dig it! any post detail shots? that paint has to gleam.

 

can't get any good pictures with the camera phone. it is very smooth after all the detailing though. i'm satisfied!

Put on some vx wheels to see if the extra 2 lbs would help with mpg's.
