Default crome - GOLD MAP vs P30 BASE

i'm trying to use the gold map

i copied the fuel and ign map of the p30 to gold.

on GOLD the idle isnt smooth like p30

on GOLD shakes a little more and have small popping.. that i don't have on p30

is the battery injector offset ? its strange because i have a b16a1 (original pw0 obd0) runing with obd1 p28 ecu, but i have obd0 injectors... and set on GOLD 87-91 injector...

any ideas ?

I had p30 running and then switched to gold. I have the same issue with the popping. If you watch ignition timing on the datalogs, it randomly pulls timing even with all corrections at 0. I am going to switch back to p30 base.

I change the IAT ign and fuel correction all to 0 , and i have a much stable ignition on GOLD,

but the idle isnt smooth like p30, i think is the injector offset conf.

@bgdriver what car you have ?

"It's not the same fuel multiplier so it runs leaner on gold maps, you just need to tune it." - Miles David

@bgdriver

try to give more 15% to 20% fuel on the map
did you test with wideband ?
i rise 15% on mine, and now GOLD idle is like p30

He emailed me personally about this but I figured I should post the answer. In some P30 bases, the individual cylinder trim is doubled. If you double it in the Gold file, it should level out. It still won't be very accurate though, so instead of messing with cylinder trims you should just tune it.

the gold rom was developed on p30. if your individual cylinder trims are all 1.00 in p30 then there shouldn't be much of a difference. either one of your parameters is inaccurate in the gold rom or you have a bad gold base and need a new one.
