Ok.. its starts of as your basic thursday.. class at monroe during the day.. at 3 pm i show up to work.... work for about 2 hours.. installed a tano sp? cover on a truck.. a pain in the ***.. it was one on a roller sorta thing.. called my ex before i have to leave she was going to come to buffalo with me to eat dinner with my family while i was there.. you see.. the whole reason i was going to buffalo was that i have to be in the town of elma for court for a 77 in a 55 ticket at 6:15.. she turned it down finally..so that was kinda shitty... it was now 5:15 when i left work.. had to get home quickly, change, then go to elma.. on the 590 on the way home.. some stupid mother ******* moron piece of **** bitch ****** in a navy blue van cut off 3 people during rush hour traffic.. the woman he cut off slammed her brakes.. the girl behind her slammed hers a hit her.. i slammed mine and hit her.... i see my hood pop up bent in half.. we all pull over.. i get out of my car shaking in anger.. without knowing the story i get to the girl i hit..

"WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING SLAMMING YOUR BRAKES LIKE THAT DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC?!"

"Sorry!, the lady infront of me slammed on hers."

Still shaking.. I run up to the VW pulled over in front...

"ARE YOU A ******* MORON?! YOU DON'T SLAM ON YOUR BRAKES AT 5:00 PM IN ROCHESTER NY! WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"It was a man in a dark blue van! He cut me off, then drove away!!! Don't ever use that language with me!"

"Sorry mam' I'm a litte edgy at the moment" (points to fuct car) "I thought you were doing some kind of brake test. I apoligize for my language. Are you ok?"

"No, I'm fine"

I walk back to the other girl..

"Are you ok? any neck pain or anything at all?!"

"No... I'm fine"

I call the police, 3 cops show up, and ambulance and a fire truck.. the police officer takes down all the info.. basically tells me it was my fault.. I see why.. but I don't understand.. THERE IS NO CHANCE IN HELL YOU CAN BE 2 SECONDS AWAY FROM THE PERSON INFRONT OF YOU IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC!!!!! if you dont agree.. thats great..stfu and don't post... so basically the entire front of my car is fuct.. i need new quarter panels.. a new hood... new bumper.. and the engine smells like burning.. the whole frame is bent to all **** and back... It's not so much the damage that is bad.. it can be fixed.. but my VIN number is stamped on every body piece.. if it was replaced.. you get the picture..

Insurance will look at it tomarrow hopefully... I'm getting a new car.. totalled or not.. I bought the car absolutely perfect.. the work I've done to it was perfect... therefore it has to be perfect, or it will not be at all.. this is my reasoning, this is who I am.. if you disagree thats great.. I don't want to hear about it...

I have my new car picked out.. Sadly I'll have to drive it through the first winter.. I don't have the money for this car AND a jeep..but oh well.. I'm also setting aside 5 grand for mods.. I'll probably go with a Vortech Supercharger for it.. and maybe some nice wheels...

I usually try to stay off people's asses whenever I'm driving, but I feel your pain. Rush hour is just a big clusterfuck. Good luck with the insurance.

 

yea man.. same thing happened here, i didnt think it was my fault, but law states that it is.. now i always keep my distance.

 

I WAS keeping my distance.. she slowed down.. I slammed on my brakes... came close to about 3 feet from her bumper.. but then outa nowhere she slammed down all the way... the brake lights don't get brighter when you apply more pressure.. there was nothing I could do...

its one thing if you are keeping your distance.. the person infront of you slams their brakes.. and comes screeching to a stop.. but when that person hits something that is stopped... and they go 50-0 in a half second.. i dont care if you are 2 seconds behind them.. you ARE hitting them.. such bullshit.. it's not my fault.. and if a claim is made.. i will go to court with a lawyer to defend myself...
