Default NEED HELP! Apexi headers 4-2-1 Buy or not to buy?

Do you know that product?
Someone who's using it?

I have few days to decide to order or not..
I'm using ECU Mugen with Dc Sports Headers 4-1 USDM and I'm looking for more power and torque at low and middle rpm.
They look to be good but I'd like to know your experiences..

Thanks everybody!!!!

4-2-1...better midrange power

4-1...better top end power
There are too many variables between headers to use a blanket statement such as this one.

I'd bet on a 4-2-1 Toda header making more power everywhere than a USDM DC 4-1 header.

I agree, I was just giving him a quick general difference between the two. Generally 4-1 headers have good top end and not so good midrange and 4-2-1 have better midrange than they do top end..not saying that they don't have top end just saying that they're midrange is better.

If you really have an R then think about where your power band is... Its from 6-8k right, to get a header that works high example: 4-1 design would be best. IMO

I didn't think Apex-i made a header for the ITR...

I have one on my Type R and love it. The quality is top notch but the price was reasonable (which is why I like Apex). BTW they don't make one specifically for the ITR -- you'll have to use the GSR header and either modify the cat (extend it, reangle the flange, and add a bung) or just use a GSR cat. I had mine modified just to get the thing on there, but will probably switch to a hi flow soon.

Are we talking about a header or headers(multipule).....I wouldn't go with Apexi headers, it isn't one of the things they are known for doing well is their headers, but their exhaust systems arn't bad at all.

ITR=4-1

visit optauto.com
They have JDM apexi header for ITR with 2.5 colletor. However, you need to buy 2.5" aftermarket cat.

.....save your $ and get a TODA header.

Best off the shelf header available, imho...
