2000 Honda Accord clutch does not engage starter
I have a 2000 Honda Accord that will not start when I turn the ignition key. There is no noise when I turn the key all the way so it is not a problem with the battery or the starter. It acts like I am not pushing the clutch all the way. I am guessing there is a switch somewhere that engages the starter when the clutch is pressed in far enough but can find no such switch. Would anyone please help me locate this?
I've crawled underneath and looked but the only switch I can find is the one that disengages the cruise control. Would you happen to have a picture or diagram of the switch location?

I had the same problem with my civic. What happened with mine was, there is a little rubber stopper at the top the of the pedal. Mine broke off. All I had to do was purchase a new one from honda and put it in.
So check the very top of the pedal where the pedal pushes against the switch and see if the rubber stopper is still there or if there is just a hole.
