battery has juice car has no power not even a battery light
Light the title says guys I went out to start my car this morning and it's like my battery is drained yet the battery has full juice I'm stumped
If the battery is good then your wires are probably bad. Check all your power and ground cables.
Also, how old is the battery? A battery can still read proper voltage, but be unable to provide proper cranking amps. Battery life is typically 3 years.

its a good battery all the wires are connected there good connection and it doesn't even try to crank over the battery light doesnt even come on no power whatsoever
have a local shop test the alternator. this happened to me a couple months back and was totally random. then again mine was 15+ years old. hows the car been running. bogging down or something like that?

car runs excellent and I was told that an alternator that's bad would not cause the interior lights to not come on the alternator only affects the way the car runs after you crank it over
Good luck - P
That was the first thing I tried, I have no power in my car, my dome light and dash or headlights do not come on period. I'm taking it to a shop on thursday where they said they for sure can find out where the problem lies. Free diagnose, probably an arm and a leg to fix. This sucks it just had to break down on my 30th Birthday lol

Do you have a multimeter?
Just start checking for voltage and see where it stops. From battery to fusebox then on from there.

The big yellow one.... or maybe one of the red ones.

EDIT: Sorry F22 - just reread post and you asked about this fuse this right off the bat.

all of my fuses are good I'm not going to bother with the multimeter just because I'm not that good with electrical I'll just let the shop deal with it
^^ He's a magician!
I don't like this post anymore.
Seemed like OP was all up for some DIY and now they are giving up to hand it over to a mechanic to figure it out. The problem seems fairly easy to troubleshoot too =/

Lol im not a magician i used the multimeter to test the battery i just dont want to get further into it and screw something up. Its cool if you dont like this post, just asking for help. Thanks guys
Besides the battery, I dont know what else I can test. I already to you guys Im not electricity inclined. And im not a moron either, just hate deaing with electrical.
My last piece of advice for this thread then: Since you know how to use the multimeter to test the battery itself, all you need to do test if something is getting power is to touch the positive end to whatever you are testing and touch the negative end to the chassis (because the chassis is a giant ground).
Other than that this thread was a complete waste of time. These forums are supposed to help people learn, diagnose, troubleshoot, and hopefully fix whatever the issue may be. If the thread is "Hey something is wrong with my car, what do I do?" and is followed by "I'm taking it to a mechanic" without a real effort from the OP to diagnose/fix the issue there was never a reason to start the thread. Just take it to a mechanic and get it back on the road ASAP and be done with it. Hope it all works out and it doesn't cost too much in the end. Hope you're at least willing to post up what the problem turns out to be so that others may actually learn from this thread.

I apologize for "wasting everyones time", I started this thread because I had no power, and basically it turned into me giving up. So as soon as I find out what the problem is and the cost to fix it I will post here. I love these forums and I get a lot of help from them. Hopefully this is the last thread that I "give up on". Thanks again..
I think I found my problem I decided to use the multimeter and test the wire going from the positive terminal to the fuse box the wire that's touching the positive terminal has power the end of that wire does not I'll let you guys know if it works
apparently the last owner had to differ wires coming from the main ecu fuse box to the battery because I tested 12 volts at one side and zero at the other side they tide two wires together and they came apart so I made one wire and the car started right up thanks guys really
