Default CF Hood

I have a 91 hatch with a B16 in it, I have Place Racing motor mounts, I can not fit the stock hood back on the car because the webbing of the hood interferes with the valve cover, I am wondering if any one with a Fiber Images Hood, Place Racing monunts and a B16 swap has this problem, I want to get a Fiber Images hood but dont want my valve cover to get all scratched up, I can't afford and don't want JDM front end conversion. Thanks

To tell you the truth, the CF hoods, unless they have a cowl, are modeled after the stock hood. So i guess place racing didn't fix the to high issue still huh, I have the new HCP kit and my hood and all the b16a's i have done with HCP mounts close just fine. Sorry man, But the CF hood may have less webbing.

I run a fiber images jdm style carbon hood(it's for the us front end). The hood has no underside webbing and bumps up in the middle. You won't have any clearance issues.

Make sure if you have a usdm front end you get the jdm" style" that fits the usdm set up.

So the CF hoods look so good, how much are you guys pickin them up for. 500 seems to be the running price. I would like to get one but I have no idea on which CF hoods will fit right and have that JDM style up in the middle instead of down. Just lookin for a good site. Later
