hey guys how do you check an area for a good ground?
One way to check the gorund is to place the NEG prong to the surface(GROUND) you want to test and try to measure a known voltage (say 12V from the Batt). If your multimeter reads 12V, or the known voltage, then you have a good ground. make sure its free of corosion too.

also you could probably use the ohm's setting on your meter (assuming it has that function) and simply apply one lead to each end of the part you're testing (i.e. the motor and the frame). the display should read 0 ohms
