Icon2 96 honda civic 1.6 non vtec starting trouble

Hi guys

My 96 honda civic won't start. It over heated so I had it towed home. I changed the thermostat and now it won't start again. Sounds like its not getting fuel. My brother pulled the valve cover and cranked the engine. The timing belt is still intact and spins. The lifters also move freely. I have no mix of coolant in oil or vice or versa. I have replaced the wires, cap, rotor and plugs. I tested the coil in the distributor and had the correct ohms through it. I replaced the fuel filter and I had pressure at the fuel filter. There was fuel pressure where the line plugs into the fuel rail also. I don't know what else to test. We sprayed carb cleaner into the throttle body and it almost kicked over. Any help would be appreciated. What else should I test. Thanks for your time.

Compression test. Real low compression will prevent starting and is quite probable if the head warped on over heat, which is also pretty common.
