So here's the details. I was driving back home from my bank today. I had to take the freeway this time and I was going around a sharp turn. I had my daughter in the car with me so I wasn't rallying around it. Suggested speed was 25 and I was going 30 around it. Anyways, after I straightened out I heard a loud pop that sounded like it came from my back tire. I was only a few minutes away from home at that point so I just took it slow the rest of the way home. When I got out of the car I looked back at it and it looks like I have negative camber on one tire.. I literally just drove to Seattle and back yesterday without any problems.. Most of my miles come from the freeway and I've never heard this popping noise before. What could this have been? My driveway is at an angle so most the time when I work on my car I bring it to a buddies house and use his shop. But, that's a fairly far drive that I'm not willing to take to fix this. I have one spot around my house that is pretty level.. It just sketches me out to have it jacked up here. But, that may be my only choice aside from spending my arm and leg for a shop to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Fyi, I'm not claiming to be a car guru.. I'm still learning.
This is a picture of my front tire.. As you can see everything is normal and obviously doesn't have negative camber.


This is the back tire.. It may be hard to see the difference. And it's not a huge, drastic change. You can tell the difference in person, but the look of negative camber is the best way to explain it..

 

just jack it up, and look at the arm that goes from the top of the trailing arm to the body and see what it looks like. Take a look at everything else while your down there. Will only take like 2 minutes.....
