Default Coilovers

I've got a 97 GSR and I don't know how much I wanna lower it so I'm probably going to go the coilover route. I understand how conventional suspension works but coilovers are a whole new game to me. Do these basically install the same way that springs do? Is there any special procedures to go through? I have done a lowering job on my old e30 BMW and it didn't seem too hard but that was with conventional springs. I already know I need a camber kit and good shocks.

coilovers are pretty much the same to install as springs, but a coilover just has a sleeve and a little collar that lets you set how high of low your car is.
