Lowering Springs or Coilovers? advice please
basicly i want to drop my car probly 2 or 2and a half inches, i dont know if i should get lowering springs or coilovers... i like the idea of coilovers because you can adjust them from 0-4" usually and i would like to be able to raise it in the winter so im not snow plowing but i want to know which will more likely damage my car and good/bad of both.. also i see coilovers and springs on ebay all day for around $60 but there genaric brand, does brand really matter much?

Coilovers aren't really dangerous. The only reason i see them being dangerous is if you don't get a camber kit and you start blowing through tires like I was with my VR6. I have Nuespeed Race Springs and Bilstien shocks on my vr6, handles great but its a little low. I would recommend Ground Controls coilovers and Tokico adjustable Shocks for your lude. I had a 2000 base lude and thats what i ran. Adjustability owns. The ebay coilovers may last a long time but i gaurantee you the ride won't be that good. If you decide to go cheap on anything with your lude don't let it be your suspension. Its not something you can easily reverse in like 5 mins like a cheap intake or something.
