If I'm not mistaken from the last time i looked at the intervals it was 48000 km... or roughly 20000 miles.

I honestly do mine every 2 oil changes.

Isn't there a reason Honda implemented the Maintenance Minder? Or at least an owner's manual?

The maint minder is for those who don't like hands on car maintenance. Or live on a budget. If you have the skills and or the desire to learn them, it is cheaper to do your own fluid changes.
If I had access to a proper garage and friends at the Honda parts counter ( I refuse to use anything but OE parts and fluids ) I would do the same.

well usually an oil change is suppose to last me 10k km but the way I drive I change every 7k km... I do the tranny flush always on the 2nd oil change. Cause the car is only driven in summer I end up doing it just once a year
