The 2015 Acura TLX just started showing up here in Georgia yesterday and truly hit the dealer floors today. I went this morning to look and sure enough I drove one home! One of the first to take delivery in Georgia and first at that Acura dealership. I had wanted a TSX or TL for the longest time and finally with the merger of the two I figured it was a perfect time to get a new car. My Honda Prelude, which I did not trade in, I have had since brand new in 2001 and have babied it for over these 13+ years. It feels so good to have a brand new car which I am sure a lot of you know. It has ever options I could ever want and love the color! :dblthumb2:

Damn those headlights are rediculous....How does the tranny feel? I heard these come with the new DCT transmissions

 

That looks awesome. The headlight have grown on me.

 

He got the six cylinder model, so his comes with the 9 speed ZF. It's very smooth, but you have a Sport and Sport+ mode in case it's too smooth for you.

 

Any further observations? How's the fuel economy stacking up?

How do you like the headlights? I like the ones on my RLX quite a bit.

It looks like you got a GLM. I *almost* got an RLX that color but decided it was too close to black, and I got a Forged Metal. Don't think that's a TLX color.

I imagine the infotainment system takes quite a bit of getting used to after the Prelude.

Yes. I think they have a hit on their hands, despite the fact that it mightn't stack up if you're looking at statistics.

P-AWS is a strange idea for some people, too.

 

Just got an SH-AWD model in at the dealership, very nice cars!

 

Please give us your feelings about the new 9 speed trany- I rly want 1 but can't afford it-just bought a 05 TL and not so happy over it -my 99 tl seemed better in some ways.
