1998 honda civic blower motor stopped working

they normally get power from the ignition circuit, one of the key positions, and they switch ground through the switch for the different speeds, there are resistors in the blower housing for each speed, the moving air stops them from burning up. have you checked to see if the blower motor itself is any good? normally the fan will run on high, which is straight power and ground, but one of the speeds will fail , if it does nothing, check for power at the blower motor, and check to see if it's getting ground with the switch on. if it is, you might have to pull the blower housing and check the motor, edit it says 98 I thought it said 88, most likely it's the same setup honda has used for years, but I cant remember if they ever added a blower motor relay
Thanks. Replaced the resistor and motor after doing some tests. Works great now. The motor was the issue, seems the brushes disintegrated so changed the resistor while I was in there...
