Yup. I use jack stands, but I just jack it from the center of the bar.

If you want to jack it from the center of the bar, I recommend only doing that if you run a front torque mount.

If you don't have a front torque mount, I don't suggest using the bar as a jacking point in the center. But either end is fine to use as theres more support.

I typically jack from the bar but at the torque mount location as it has slightly more surface area.

Side note- Check your bolts in a couple weeks where the traction bar attaches mine loosened after a bit of use.

Just a word of advice: With mine, I noticed slipping one the traction bar as I jacked it up. I have never had it fall off the jack, but I have seen someone else do it. When you jack the car up, go slowly and watch the jack. If it looks like it may be moving, set it down and try again. My jack has notches in the plate where it contacts the car. I always tried to line those notches up with the traction bar so they would catch and the jack would not move.

tow hooks bend.

very easily.

not safe.

dont.

under the subframe bolts would seem to be the best place if you cant do it in the center. just have to do it twice or maybe 4 times to get it up safely.

more directly to the topic, i dont know much about "traction" bars to be honest. I never needed one. so why the hell do ppl need them??

and why the hell cant these "fabricators" make a subframe replacement AS STRONG AS or STRONGER than the original???
