What is this blue connector near blower - 1990 Accord LX
Hi. Experiencing ventillation issues with my 1990 Accord LX and found a blue connector not connected to anything when I started the blower box removal procedure. Haven't found it listed within any documentation and I don't know where it goes or what it does. Does anyone have any insight? Below are photos:
Blue connector is in the center. Shows position relative to unbolted ECU mount, passenger door, blower (with bottom panel removed):

Closer view of connector:

There are two leads coming from it: a red lead and a green lead.
Thanks.

its ur trouble code connector. u can jumper it or connect a code reader for CEL or MIL or "Check Engine" lights. u can also pull D4 light codes SRS codes and ABS codes with that. its not supposed to connect to anything but there should be another blue connector that it plug in next to
That is the Service Check Connector. If your car had a stored trouble code, you can jump that with a piece of wire or small paper clip to retrieve the trouble codes by counting the short and/or long flashes from the Check Engine Light, D4 or S indicator light (if so equipped) with the ignition ON. There are tons of info. on the forum and the web regarding this.
For the 1990 Accord, if your car is an automatic, the transmission control module may also have an LED light that would blink the transmission related trouble codes, without having to jump the Service Check Connector.

Thanks. Wanted to verify it wasn't directly part of the blower/vent circuits. Didn't want to take the assembly apart if something just needed plugging back in. Also didn't want to plug something in that shouldn't be plugged in.
I understand about the trouble codes. Thought that the blue connector *might* be part of that; but didn't know. Good to know.
Thanks!
