Wastegate teardrop port! How to?
Top pic looks like it came from a T as the back side of the bend sort of flares out.
The middle pic looks like a 90 as the back side of the bend follows the bend of the inside.
3rd one looks to be cast and could honestly be anything.

Really? Take a 90 in your hand and stare at it till you see the tear drop shape. Cut it close with your weapon of choice and the finish with it with a belt sander or grinder.
You said it yourself in the first post - it is self explanatory, just look at the first picture YOU provided haha. It shows you pretty well. Make your cut and shape it how you want then just lay it on the collector and trace it out and cut as needed. Weld it in. If you can't figure it out then pay someone; it is extremely straight forward.

biggest issue with making these is getting the piece setup correctly to make the cut the way you want it, which is what i think the OP is asking for
i would be inclined to make an adjustable jig for a hole saw if i were to do a number of these

I was doing one this morning so I took some pics along the way....
First tack the elbow to a straight piece of tube so you can hold it. Then set it up in the saw. Same method can be used with a drill vise and hole saw in a drill press/mill. Depends on how the piece needs to mount.

After cutting you will end up with this...

Now there will be some fitting. Which will end up like this...

By the way, keep the piece of tube on as long as possible for easier handling.
On this collector the "tail" piece needs to be wrapped around the bottom of the collector. Simply put the piece on the edge of a bench and use a hammer to fold the tail down.

Once it is fitted to where you want it, mark the inside with a marker. Then use a hole saw to drill the hole...

Cut the rest of the hole with a carbide cutter to match the piece...

Then weld on...

Finish cutting the inside once it's on.
Hope this helps. Just ask if you have any questions.

Thanks a lot Man!
You are the best!
Just a small piece of advice for others....this is how a true fabricator answers a question!
And.....this is how you can help someone if you want to....if you don't...than you don't!

It helped a lot!
If there will be more people like you around the forums than the fabrication world will be on a different level!
Back in 2011 when I joined this forum there were a lot of brilliant fabricators around this forum....but because of all the ''haters'' they left ...and now nobody will share their knowledge...Except a few people!
I think that this is the main reason why you don't see really good fabricators like Toxic Fab and Ubtoainium posting over here!
