So I have been having a problem tracking down a coolant leak on my si. It seems to only happen every other time I drive it too? I drive it about five miles everyday to work and after the car has sat for a while it will randomly accumulate about a cup of coolant under the back passenger side of the oil pan. Have any of you ever experianced this before? I checked the hoses for leaks and double checked all the hose clamps. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Check the hose from the IACV to the water pump neck. Also if your motor has an oil cooler, check those hoses.

 

iacv hose coming from the water log might be wearing out. Reminds me, I also have a hose that is leaking coolant. Might have to flush coolant at the same time since its about that time.

 

See image, it could also be the heater hoses leaking from the thermostat housing as well.
