Unplugged TPS and motor did nothing

Hey guys like the title says, does this mean a bad TPS and would be the cause of my solid check engine light? Thanks in advance.

Did you get a TPS code?
Read the ECU code(s) and that will answer your question.

No codes, I have a Rywire harness with the blue/orange CEL wires, put them together and nothing.
