But that one is damaged more than mine
But he said,al the pullys have something

I have dropped one also before and put a small dent in it. I would think it is safe to use so long as there isnt a huge chunk missing or anything. I would just be very sure it isnt going to cause any damage to the belts.
Yes it does... look at all the ring with small circle bumps - that is rubber. I would have it balanced personally. At the very minimum you should smooth out any sharp edges.
Hey.
Thnx is saw the rubber, i didnt know this.
Thougt the pully was to drive the belts only.
And yes im going to grind the dent to make it smooth so it coulnd shred the beld.
I dont know witch belt drives on that lane but i hope the ac , cus mine is gone.
Greetz and thnx

a lot of people run it. and some pulleys break off after a while and people just replace it not knowing why or blame the bolt.
I just seen one with chipped pulley broke the bolt and was all beat up on the inside.
If I have a chipped pulley I just break off an equal amount on the opposite end of the pulley to have equal mass( as close at it would be without actually balancing it)
and then smooth the sharp edges where it contacts the belt so it doesn't cut it up
I would be interested if any shop would be willing to bust or confirm my theory of breaking off the piece of equal size and if it makes difference of not.
since its a harmonic balancer not just to drive belts
