Best thing to do would be to use some simple green/409 and then hose off all the areas where there is wet/weeping/puddling. With no visible oil leakage, start the engine and watch for any active leaks. If none, go for a drive, preferably in hilly areas where the car will be pitched and rolled a bit. Park car and look for any new oil leaks. If you see wet spots, that is most likely your oil leak. But if a sloppy oil change was done it may just be spilled oil from the container, and your engine may not have any active leaks.
Yes looks like a simple valve cover fix.( new grommets should come with new gasket kit) if fixed and leak still persist make sure you placed it on correctly and tightened all bolts the right torque specs. And you could always spray some carb cleaner around suspected (with car off) area to clean off and see if any oil leaks out.
looks like u need new grommets. if it continues to leak replace

kind of expensive u might want to get a valve cover gasket kit and replace the tube seals as well. when u install them use soapy water on the grommets and wipe clean after install

Looks like the grommets have a bit of oil in them.

i think it has to do something with washing the oil off

Pull out your spark plug wires, you may have flooded the spark plug tubes with water. Just need to spray off, using just the hose without an attachment could flood the engine or worse.
