Do I need to RTV-seal a Honda OEM water pump O-ring? It seems to be flush-mounted to the waterpump somehow, don't want to pry it off... do I still need to seal?

 

you dont need to seal it, you need to replace it.

 

I know I know, the new waterpump comes with the new O-ring embedded flush against it. I'm asking if I need to run a bead of sealant around that also.

When I said o-ring, I meant on the new pump

No, you dont need any other sealant. the oring is all the gasket that you need. just make sure to clean the mating surface on your blcok and you should be fine.
