So before I rip my hair out and just take my car to a shop, I thought I'd try here and see if anyone could shed some enlightenment on my situation. Recently (couple months or so) had a post about replacing my motor, had a D16a8 thrown in. Issue is that the temperature randomly tends to creep up as I'm driving, usually on the freeway, going uphill etc. From what I can tell I don't have any leaks, changed the thermostat, drained and refilled the coolant. Don't know what else could be causing it, buddy of mine says I should just run it without the t stat. On a side note, car keeps throwing the cel, thought this was caused by the o2 sensor (as this also randomly happens) I know how to check the code, but once the car is turned off it pretty much resets until the next time it randomly pops on. Any one have any clue what this may be, as I am all out of ideas......

 

What is the check engine code that the car is throwing?
