Which car would win in a drag race, a 300zx or a 02' NSX? Both stock.

 

mid to low 13s in the 1/4 for the nsx... it would eat the z, even assuming a 300zx tt, which is a 14 flat car on the average. pre '97 nsx would be a close race though.

 

The magazine tests usually had the '91-94 NSX doing the quarter mile in around 13.8 seconds.

 

Stock for stock, I'm pretty sure the '02 NSX will easily beat a 300ZX TT.

SCC had a great series of articles on a built 300ZX a while back. Never heard of it again after they went over the engine. I think they got 500rwhp out of it. They had some beautiful pics of the engine and what they did with it. Sports Car Intl. did an article a few years ago comparing a 300ZX, a 911, and an NSX. I won't tell you the results b/c I can be pretty biased but the 300ZX faired pretty well.

On a different note, the interiors of the 300ZX and the NSX are remarkably similar.
