Default This is my jdm 96-type r

Hello forum members, I recently got done kinda restoring a jdm spec type r that I picked up a year ago. I don't seen anyone at all driving itr's in the dallas area so to fill my lonely gap I'm going to join the itr section! here are some pics of the car. There kinda like before and after. I will try to upload more pics but the car is definitely a work in progress

lookin good!!

Is it the fender or the hood that is off on the JDM Driver side??

If its the hood, you might be able to tighten up the gap by adjusting the hood stopper. either up more or down more, its tough to tell from the pics.

Otherwise looking much better than the first few pics!

Excellent restoration.

One minor criticism: In the 2nd and 3rd picture in post #5, it appears as though the "Integra Type-R" decal is crooked.

The owner got into a slight front end collision so I pulled the frame out as much as possible but its still slightly. I'm definitely going to address it in the future though.

The ac line was in the way and I had a lot a trouble but a friend said the mounted position should work like that. Its worked ever since but I will admit it does look funky lol.

really!? thats awesome man, you go to any local meets? I have not seen anyone in the dallas area with a itr in awhile. I saw one itr at cars and coffee once but that was my first sighting of one. I didn't know the itr community was so lonely though lol

Dallas ITR community is kinda small and there are a lot of thieves in the area so keep a close eye on heR.

Good job putting it back together!

Wow fantastic looking R.

Can I ask a favor of you? Is there any chance I can get photos of the firewall details? I really would like to see exactly how the charcoal canister is hooked up between the throttle body and the intake manifold. I need to know if the JDM version has an EVAP solenoid like the US Hondas do.

That would be really helpful.
