Car was running fine, started it today and ran rough. Check engine light is blinking. Code says cylinder 1-3-5-6 miss firing. Replaced the spark plugs and made no difference. Ideas?

 

check the Ohms (resistance) of the wires and distributor cap and ignition coil. 4 cylinders misfiring out of 6? ouch.

 

Thanks for the help. Got me thinking, (I hate doing that) found that it doesn't have a cap but it has 6 coils, one on each cylinder. The code that came up with 4 cylinders misfiring was misleading. I bought a ignition spark tester, hooked up each coil one at a time, turned the car over to verify spark. Found only one was not working. Replaced that and it purrs like a kitten again.
