I just bought this Accord and it had a misfire when I brought it. The check engine light is flashing so I assumed it was ignition coils, spark plugs, or injectors. I did the ignition coil swap from cyl 3(the one that was misfiring) with a different coil from cyl 1 and two and the coil worked fine on both. Even bought new coils and same thing. Got new spark plugs and still nothing. Changed injectors and even checked the ignition coil relay and nothing was burnt. I’m not sure what else to change or where else to look. I haven’t taken it into a shop yet. Just looking to get some suggestions.

Engine was bad. Had to be completely rebuilt or swapped. I went online and decided to buy a jdm engine and swap that in since the cost was much less then a rebuild. Anyone have any experience with buying and running a jdm engine for one of these cars? I was a little skeptical since I know about that Japanese laws and why most cars are low mile but I’m still not 100% convinced.
