I'm rebuilding my 95 civic and i bought Hasport mounts to install a d16y8 into it. But the driver side mount is not sitting flush with the posts. Im looking for someone to cross reference with the same setup.

Here's what i mean. You can see that the mount doesnt go all the way down.



Each post has a buldge. The mount is only drilled to fit one of the posts.



As you can see the mount is not drilled the same. Does anyone know a solution?

 

Have you contacted hasport? a quick google search showed this and your mount doesn't match

 

Did you buy the mount for the motor or the chassis ?
