Ordering new wheels soon - what's the best size tire?
I'm going to be ordering new wheels next week for my 98 Hatch. They're going to be 16x7 and I don't really know the best tire size for that width. I'm looking at the Azenis, Pirelli P7000, or Dunlop SP's. Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance.

No kidding? Really? It would help if you'd post something worthwhile....
Ok, maybe I should be a little more detailed. I was going to get 205/50's for the Rota's i'm selling (15x7) so obviously i'll be looking for about the same width. Will a 215 fit or is that too much of a stretch? What height should I look for? A 50 series would be shorter than stock, but i'm also adding another inch of wheel diameter. So, would a 205/50 or a 205/45 be a better choice? I know someone has 16's on their car and have an opinion on tire size.

For 16's on a Civic or integra you want 205/45/16
That will keep the rolling diameter closest to stock

I got 195/50/16 Pirelli P6000s. I don't think I notice a difference from 195 to 205...it's only a 1 CM difference, or 10MMs. Besides our friends dad who works at a tire shop said you will rub a lot more, like especially with turning. Does anyone ever rub with 205 width tires, and a loaded ride? I never rubbed with 195s and a loaded car, but I never had 205s on my hatch.
If you tires rub then yuo have the wrong offset.
205/45/16 with a 40-45mm offset should work great. slight rubbing but nothing that will chew up your tires.
