what does the forum think about this? mixing premium ATFs into super ATF
I'm planning on extracting the ATF from my trans (z6 and j30a4) since they're still half-filled with burnt fluid. Honda transmissions and their ATF fail too easily for me, I burnt the stuff up turned it from red to black, and while driving fords chevys Toyotas etc IV never done that.
what brands of ATF have people been happy with? I'm thinking Amsoil mixed with Torco mixed with Lucas. All of it mixed together.. I dunno exactly how they'll react to it but its ATF the stuff is meant to be mixed together in the trans. I dont see why Amsoil could be mixed with Honda ATF but not Torco ATF, and vice versa. I will call all of their laboratories and customer servicers. To get advice on this matter.
what does the forum think? Any brand recommendations?

Again, try it. You keep posting these absolutely inane ideas just to start a conversation and never wind up doing anything but talking. This needs to be locked.
I dunno if I should buy the amsoil or not though. I was hoping someone tried it, because all I have to go on with this is their sales pitch and random internet reviews. IV gotten first hand testimony about the torco being a quality product and it better be at nearly 20$ a qt. Its meant for racing, so with my driving which only mimics the track occasionally it should be plenty good.
I also dunno which other brands to try.
