Skunk 2 headers just sitting in garage...
I had Cai intake but it was old and beat up when I bought the car. I slapped aem short ram. Instantly noticed the slightest difference in 2nd gear. Feels a tiny bit slower. Not the? Though... I have Skunk 2 headers that came in the trunk when bought the car. Running stock exhaust as of now... Is it okay to put the headers on since they were on at one point anyways? I don't wanna take in all this air and not push enough out and ruin something... Thanks.
I'd say go for it as well, check everything out first, make sure the cat it not welded to the stock headers, if so you may need to do some fabrication unless you don't mind no cat.
personally i ran a skunk2 megapower exhaust on a dd eg back in 08 and after 3 months the welds cracked in two spots. also ran a skunk2 pro series intake manifold on a turbo'd itr engine only pushing 285whp/207trq that cracked after about 11 months. both times skunk2 wouldnt honor there warranty on either items. sell it and get something better. its not worth the hassle for junk products from that company
