So I started up my car this morning and the deck won't even turn on at all, I tried pulling it off and putting it on again and nothing at all.

Also checked the fuse under the wheel and seems to be fine, i even changed it and still nothing.


Anyone got any clue what this could be?

Who installed it and what method did they use to install it?

Maybe the power wire disconnected behind the head.

Does the head unit itself have an internal fuse?

Can you remove the head and supply power to it?

 

I bought the car with the aftermarket deck in it. It's been working since i bought it 3 months ago.

Last night I took off the negative cable to work on my spark plugs....and everythings working fine.

I just noticed the radio wouldn't even turn on so I guess I gotta open it apart and check everything.

I haven't worked on decks before so I wouldn't be able to tell you but I'll take it apart now and check everything

Fuse #23 15amp is for the Radio. Is this the one you inspected? Do you have an digital multimeter?
