Default Which AC Compressor to get for my 97 Civic LX?? *need advice*

I have 97 Civic Sedan LX and I got my AC recharged for the 1st time since owning the car. The charge didn't hold and they said I would need a new AC compressor. I currently have a JDM 96 Integra Type R swap in my car and from my understanding the Integra Type R never came with AC. Is this correct? If so, what AC Compressor will work for me? If it is a stock 97 Civic compressor, does it matter if the compressor came from a VTEC or NON- VTEC version of my car?

Thank you,
Jeremy

Is the diagnosis trustworthy?

I'm going to get a 2nd opinion later today. It blew cold for like 15 mins then it went kinda warm. Then I tried it about 20 mins after that them it was blowing even colder the 1st time. That lasted for like 10-15 mins then it wasn't as cool.

For tech threads, it's always best to include some diagnostic information. For example, this^ information suggests that the compressor clutch just needs to be shimmed because the clearance between the armature plate and pulley is a bit too wide. In this case, the compressor does not need to be replaced, just shimmed.

Ok, thanks for the heads up! I'm really hoping it's not the compressor and it is indeed the compressor clutch.
