hey guys, i recently bought a turbo k20 eg hatch, ive been going threw the car trying to get it ready for a tune sesion with jeff evans. (supposedly it was allready tuned) ive came accross numerous problems, do i need a knock sensor? i noticed there is not 1 installed on the car. engine is k20z1 (06 rsx-s) thanks in advance

 

i dont think so. Althought it would be a good idea to have one. If anything you would have a check engine light which could be turned off threw your hondata.

 

Better idea than posting in a random forum - call him and ask. He'll tell you exactly what he expects you to bring.

 

Shouldn't NEED one. I'm sure Jeff Evans knows how to read plugs.

Most factory Honda ones are too slow anyways.
