I have a 2003 CRV, 4cyl., 2.4L, 2-wheel drive, Automatic. I am going to be swapping engines. Can I disconnect the motor without removing it with the transmission. "Do I have to removed them as a tandom or can I pull the engine separately?

Thanks, I was looking at a Haynes Book and they show them taken out together. Would be willing give a little more effort and time and only pull the engine.

I just did a swap today on my element, and if I could give you any advice on it, leave the lower ball joints alone. just disconnect the calipers and abs sensors, and drop the subframe with the ball joints unmolested. I spent 2 hours on the ball joints just to finally just give up and do what I was going to do in the first place.
