where to buy JDM Engine?

Default where to buy JDM Engine?

im looking to buy a DOHC ZC Engine for my 90 ED3. im located in Stockton, ca and i dont know of any place except attarco and they are closed. any one point me in the correct direction?

HMotorsonline. If I remember they are even located close so you can pick it up yourself.

checked it out. pretty cool site. little expensive. but cool but 2 issues one its in LA. two their out of DOHC zc. anything closer to Stockton/Sacramento/SF bay area/Modesto?

I live in Florida, you're gonna have to get on the internet and look. They are top notch, hands down the best importer around. You can check craigslist, the marketplace here, or eBay.

I'd give them a call and check their stock. Why a DOHC ZC?

same HP/as a B18 LS Powerplant and its a drop and bolt. plus i like the look with the giant cam gears.

Parts are tough to find. Tread carefully on a suspicious swap. I'd definitely make sure it's healthy when you get it.

agreed but from what i have read the bottom end is the same as a d16a6/d16a1 and top end cams are identical to the d16a1. in fact you can fid a DOHC zc on to a single cam D16 with the proper tap

Careful with that thinking.

You can in fact do anything. Honda flipped the head on a H22 years ago. It was like the current K-series. But just because it can be done doesn't make it easy or cost efficient.
