Default 94 accord LX. guess the nut size!

Sway bar bushings nut. I saw a video tutorial and the kid used 12mm wrench and socket. I went to majestic honda and looked up the part number and it says 8mm.
so which is it 12mm or 8mm. Here is the part number 90362-SF1-003.
I also included a pic below. I left my car at my job if not I wouldn't be posting this question. I would have just checked. Thanks

I beleive that 8mm refers to the bolt diameter not the head size

You will need something to hold one side while you turn the other as it will spin free if you try to just turn one side. Keep that in mind. You can just put a 12mm wrench on the top and then just use a socket on the bottom and the wrench will bottom out against something and you can just turn the bottom with a socket or you can hold the wrench if you want.

If someone has replaced the nut with an aftermarket one, it could be 13mm. OEM is 12.

Again, is the question about the thread size or the hex size?

you use a 12mm wrench/socket on 8mm bolt/nut. the measurement is NOT the head size or outer size of the nut/bolt the measure is of the diameter of the bolt.

The book number is for thread pitch sizing. Not the actual head size
