Received my 3" Thermal exhaust. Wow... it's BIG.
It came today... the big one.
Soon I'll find out how it works around my ST rear swaybar and post more pictures.
Hope you enjoy these...

on a side note, what motor setup are you running in order for the 3" exhaust? turbo?
Trending Topics
Yes, turbo.
I'm slowly building a B18C to accept 18 pounds of boost on track days.
People say it's extremely loud. Is it APC loud? Apex'i N1 loud? DC 4-1 RACE loud?
I also hear a fat turbo quiets it down to a deeper tone. Is this true? I hope so.
Anyway... there is no way this exhaust clears the ST rear swaybar. One edge of the exhaust hanger hits the swaybar when loaded. No good. The hanger needs to be shaved 5-8mm.
I will post when the next problem arises. Stay tuned.
If anyone cares... 15x7 rims with a 40 offset rub bad on an EF.

I've got the 3" thermal on my turbo hatchie, and the sound is nice, not too loud. When you get on it, of course it opens up and growls, but it's a nice deep tone that really isn't that bad with full interior, when your driving like it's a car, not a race car
BTW, stock rear hardware, with integ rear disks, and the exhaust hits NOTHING, even with crazy wheelhop, it fits REALLY nice.

I caught up to him and asked what exhaust he had on there, while driving side by side, he yelled
"Thermal."So it could have been:
Classic
Stealth
Turbo
Wish I could have been beside him long enough to ask him which "Thermal" he had on there. It was too loud, but sounded nice. He could have been flooring it when I heard him though.

with everybody saying how loud the 3" thermal is i was very skeptical on getting it.
but after putting it on its not as loud as i thought it would be. i could definitely feel the difference.plus it doesn't look as ricey as other mufflers.

Just for comparison.

Good eye! The dual outlet exhaust came off a supercharged NSX.
Hopefully the new engine, turbo and huge exhaust will all fit into my little lunch box...
