I want to lower my car with springs, so i plan on buying new struts for them. Im kind of on a budget so what shocks/struts should i get for the springs?

If on a budget don't bother, best save up to purchase quality suspension parts.

Everyone seems to go with koni

If you do a simple google search this has been covered plenty of times.

So do you recommend just investing in coilovers rather than spring/ new strut combo?

ANd NOT ONCE does this guy say what his budget is! Racelands. Truharts. Crap suspension but I'm guessing $390 might be in your price range.

Then save up a couple hundred more, and get yourself some Koni shocks with Ground Control springs.

Rite here!!! Ground Control has been around longer and I haven't heard anyone complain. The Koni's that come with this setup are adjust for so if you lower it more you can stiffen the struts. Best look into getting extended tophats.

Koni/GC are great if you don't plan to lower the car more than about 2" or so.

OP....spend some time searching. Come back with more specific questions.

SHOCKS! Not struts. And what do you think a coilover system is? Coils over shocks.

Read think link.
Sticky: CLICK HERE all of you curious about suspension setups and their costs/reliability.
