Can you comment on dyno graph plz
Hi, I have recently installed apexi power fc when doing auto-manual swap in my b16a5 civic sir. Can has been tuned on dyno bu professional tuner. I trust them 100% but it's always good to het second opinion. Since I don't know much about tuning, can anyone plz comment in particular on the air/fuel ratio! I have apr guage and in most occasions shows lean. Not sure how precise they are. Many thanks
Looks decent to me. I can tell your engine doesn't breathe very well, so I would expect it to make a little less than one with proper mods. Or you have poor ignition and grounding. But why did you use such an expensive EMS for a basic application?
AFR gauges are not at all accurate, unless it's accompanied with a wideband sensor.

why do you say power is a bit low? it's a standard 1.6 engine with no mods apart from air intake and muffler. i think they were 140hp on wheels when new. i've now got 140k km on the clock. realy dont think i should be expecting more power, should I?
thanks
you can convert an A/T Honda ECU to M/T in about 2 minutes.
intake, header, exhaust, throttle body, intake manifold, cam, head porting. You can pretty much do them in that order, and each one improves flow more than the next.
But first make sure you're using quality spark plugs, wires, distributor, and have good engine-chassis grounding. Also make sure you have good wheel alignment.

Anyone can do the conversion. Remove a couple resistors and install a jumper. All the information on how to do it is readily available on vendor websites as well as forum How To's. Either way, in your case I agree with you, it made sense to do the ECU swap now. BUT it didn't make sense to pay to have it tuned with that basic setup haha.
Numbers and AFR look right. All dynos are a little different so there is nothing that looks weird on there at all. There are no mods on the car really, and the tune gave you some nice gains considering.

Hey, yeah its not bad but I was abit dissapointed tbh. Looking at dyno results of other's b16a motors somehow their power on pretty much stock engine was In the region of 160-170.. Apparently my motor(b16a5) was 174 when new. I've got low milleage and well maintained engine so I didn't expect to loose that much power. This is why 134 looked a bit dissapointing to me.. Am based in cyprus buddy
