Default what are the connectors mounted to the core support?

I have a 95 accord, daughter wrecked it. Fixed it and the first day she had it back she wrecked it again. This time the connector mounted by the headlights, one got smashed. Just the 1/2 of it mounted to the core support. the part that comes attached to all the wires(coming out of the loom w/ all the front lights) is fine. What is that for? I suppose I will have to get it from a salvage yard, don't want to put back together without it(in case it is needed). Just really wondering what it is.

It would help if you posted pictures.

It kind of sounds like you're referring to either ground connector G201 or G301. Which side is it and does it have a bunch of black wires attached to it?

I would have posted pictures but the car is not here. There is one on each side, each mounted on the front of the core support below each of the front part of the corner turn signal (that area anyway). they are white plastic, rectangular, yes, lots of black/striped wires.

Those are the ground connectors G201 and G301. You need them.

On the right side is ground G201, which has ground wires for the right headlight assembly, right front parking light, right front turn signal, right front side marker light, and the radiator fan motor.

On the left side is ground G301, which has ground wires for the left headlight assembly, left front parking light, left front turn signal, left front side marker light, condenser fan motor, and windshield washer motor.

Left side being the drivers side? No to be stupid, just to be sure.lol Drivers side is the one that is busted. I'm going to a pick and pull tomorrow for a few things and hope to find one easy enough to get to. Thanks for confirming my thought that it is a ground and necessary. I really like the car and will drive it and let my daughter have my cavalier. I should have bought her a real pos for her 1st car, but found this w/ 123k miles on it and couldn't pass it up, it looked nice then too.lol

Ground for the horns via the horn relay is from ground G403, which is located inside the car, on the passenger side dash. So, ground G301 wouldn't affect the horns.

Well I found what I was looking for at local pull a part, and am hoping that they don't want to much for driverside fender and bumper complete. Got my new headlight in on ups yesterday. The car I pulled ground connector from must have a bad engine because the body is perfect. Hoping to go back and get body parts today. Woo Hoo, I can't wait to get put back together with nice parts(even if I have a multi-colored car). My car is black so replacement parts will be easy to murder to "match". Thanks for info on the grounding connector. cheers!
