Default manual/tranny conversion accord owners

i'm saving up for my manual tranny conversion this summer. anyone on here that has had the conversion done, about how much should i be looking to pay for it to be done?

also, have you had any problems with the after getting the conversion?

i paid 900 for parts and 350 for labor u can get parts cheaper though

what all did you need as far as parts. tranny, ECU, axles, clutch master cylinder, pedals, console, what else? did you need a new dash cluster to register gears?

you need: tranny, ecu, shift lever assembly, console, flywheel, clutch, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, hydraulic lines, clutch pedal assembly, and axles...it really isn't all that difficult if you do some reading on it and feel somewhat comfortable with doing this kind of work yourself...about 80% of the work you will have to do is the same exact process for replacing a clutch, so it's not something terribly difficult....good luck

also, do a search on here, someone posted a how-to site at one point or another for auto-manual conversions....
