Please Help! 98 HX swap
Hey guys! New to this forum and ultimately fairly new to driving civics and swapping. I currently own a 98 hx coupe. Bought it off of a guy who was the only owner and completely honda serviced. I really want to perform a swap and make this car a little bit more fun. I am currently serving in Afghanistan, so i have a little time before anything is done. Ideally, I would like to run middle 12's to low to mid 13's, N/A(if possible), but still be a drive around car. If these aren't feasible just let me know and give me some advice on what I can do. I have doing alot of looking and a lot of people have been addressing the H2B swap. What kind of mods would I need to attain my goals and also for fitting this into the car. Thanks for reading and any help would be greatly appreciated! God bless.
With these cars being so affordable, I'd buy another for a DD and track the one you want. You won't like driving every day without an AC or heater, carpet, sound deadening, etc...
Thanks for your service, and good luck! (I agree, a larger engine like a K series for the drag car)

Well, I appreciate the honest advice. I'll have to do some more looking then. I just wasn't sure where to start or what to expect from the various types of swaps. What would a H2B or even a K-series run in my car anyways? Just out of curiosity. What kind of tuning, fabricating, ect. would i have to do to achieve like mid 13's?
